Meeting Location - St. Paul University

Located off Main Street, best access from 110 Hazel Street, Ottawa (main event in "Pavillon Guigues Hall"). By BUS: nos. 5, 16 or 55 or via Ottawa’s LRT (Confederation Line) to Lees Station (short walk or bus transfer). Uber from downtown ($11-15 est.)

Parking - Public on campus or short walk away underground at nearby 6 Oblats Avenue .

June 7th — National Arts Centre (NAC) / Centre national des arts (CNA)

Join the group in an stunning NAC ROSSY PAVILLION event space for a “5 à 7” event with bouchées, hors d’œvres and drinks — with panoramic views of some of Ottawa’s most historic and premier landmarks including Parliament Hill, the War Memorial, Chateau Laurier and the Senate. Located just steps from Ottawa’s Byward Market and the Rideau Canal waterway. Additional details to follow. Directions - and consider a walk along the canal (approximately 35 to 45 minute walk depending upon route).

  • The Green Door Restaurant - one of Ottawa’s earliest and best vegan / vegetarian restaurants, located across the street. Experience the “pay by the weight” of your plate!

  • Vespa Wine Bar …. and much more into the neighbouring Glebe area.

  • Anticipated a few more options opening before the event, but Erp! Construction delayed by a couple of weeks.

Steps about the area

  • Walk or run along the nearby Rideau River and see if you can spot the Snapping Turtle designated nesting area north of Brantwood Park or a check out the UNESCO heritage Rideau Canal. Use the Flora Footbridge to walk over the canal to Landsdowne Park in the Glebe or north into downtown Ottawa.

  • Pharmacy - Watson’s Pharmacy across the street.
